World’s Tallest And Shortest Women Meet Each Other For Afternoon Tea

The world’s tallest woman and the shortest woman recently met for an extraordinary tea at London’s Savoy Hotel, organized by Guinness World Records to celebrate Guinness World Records Day 2024.

Rumeysa Gelgi, from Turkey, stands at 7 feet tall and holds the title of the world’s tallest woman. She has a rare condition called Weaver syndrome, which causes rapid growth. Despite needing a walker, Rumeysa works as a web designer and maintains a positive outlook.

Jyoti Amge, from India, measures just 24 inches tall and is known for her role in American Horror Story. Unlike Rumeysa, her height is not due to any condition, making her uniquely small.

Their meeting highlighted their stark height difference but also their shared bond. They connected over interests like makeup and self-care. Rumeysa described the experience as “wonderful,” while Jyoti expressed joy at meeting someone so tall, noting Rumeysa’s kindness and warmth.
